A downloadable game for Windows

Cavernum is a roguelike game with randomly generated underground levels. The deeper you go the harder levels are. There's an in-game highscores leaderboard, so you can compete with your friends! This game contains many power-ups and enemies, for example you can destroy tiles with pickaxe and drink potions to change your speed! The underground levels are endless, you can go as deep as you can. Try discovering monsters and items which are available only at deeper levels!

This game was initially released on 26 Feb 2021 on this GitHub page.

Game soundtrack was composed by Bluu.

Install instructions

Requirements:

  • Operating system: Windows 7 / Windows 10 / Windows 11
  • Screen resolution: 1280x720 or higher
  • Input devices: keyboard

Instructions:

  1. Unpack cavernum.zip in any location on your hard drive.
  2. Run /Cavernum/game.exe file.
  3. If Windows Defender blocked the game click "More info" > "Run anyway".
